The maple season is well under way.  the quality is excellent and we are looking forward to a longer season than we had last year.  We need 40 degree days and 20 degree nights to create the pumping action of freezing and thawing the pushes the sap up the tree so that we can harvest a small amount from each tree and turn it into the maple syrup that we all love.  It will take approximately 40 gallons of sap to make one gallon of syrup!

Quality Control in the Sugar House

Whiteface Mountain Maple Syrup is going to the ANCA (Adirondack Norht Country Crafters Association) wholesale show in Saratoga NY April 6th , 7th at the Civic Center.  Don’t miss the opportunity to meet the producer and sample the products first hand.  Show Special is a 5% discount for cash and carry away from the show.
